The En Passant Rapid Chess Tournament is a one-day rapid event by the Metro Manila Chess Knights Association at Robinsons Metro East, Pasig City on Sunday, September 13, 2026, 10:00 AM onwards. Seven rounds of Swiss System at 15 minutes + 3 seconds increment, across three divisions: 12 & Under, 16 & Under, and Open Age for players rated 1900 & below on the August 2026 Philippine national rating list. The Open Age champion takes ₱5,000 + trophy, while both youth divisions pay ₱3,500 to the champion — with cash prizes and medals down to 10th place in every division, plus ₱500 special awards for top lady, age-group and senior finishers. Entry fee ₱350 for the 12 & Under and 16 & Under divisions and ₱400 for Open Age. Open to all rated, non-rated and non-titled players. Registration is online only — strictly NO onsite registration.
