We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data from ChessNam, please follow the instructions below.

Steps to Request Data Deletion

Log in to your ChessNam account to verify your identity
Contact us via Facebook Messenger at https://www.facebook.com/thechessnam
Include the following information in your message:
- Your registered email address
- A clear statement that you want to delete your account
- Any specific data you want removed (or confirm you want all data deleted)
We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours
Your data will be deleted within 30 days of confirmation

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be removed:

Your user profile information (name, email, phone number, address)
Chess IDs (FIDE ID, NCFP ID, Chess Portal ID)
Profile photos and uploaded images
Tournament participation records
Payment proof images you've uploaded
Any tournaments you've created (will be transferred to ChessNam admin)

Important Notes

Tournament Records: For tournament integrity and historical accuracy, basic tournament results may be retained in an anonymized form.

Active Tournaments: If you're registered for upcoming tournaments, please withdraw from them before requesting account deletion or inform us in your request.

Organizer Accounts: If you've organized tournaments, we'll work with you to transfer ownership before deletion.

Alternative Contact Method

If you're unable to contact us via Facebook Messenger, you can also send your deletion request to our support team through the Facebook page's contact options.
