The Mastermind Chess Cafe Open Rapid Chess Tournament is a one-day open rapid on Sunday, September 6, 2026, with registration starting 11:00 AM at Mastermind Chess Café, Stall 2, Plaza Nita Building, Rizal St., Angeles City. A 7-round Swiss at 15 minutes plus 3 seconds increment, open to players of all levels and age groups and limited to 50 players only. Open Division prizes run from ₱5,000 plus trophy and certificate for the champion down to ₱300 each for 6th–10th place. Six category prizes of ₱300 plus medal and certificate each go to the Top Elementary, Top High School, Top College, Top Youngest (7 & below), Top Senior (60+) and Top Female.
