The 2026 National Age Group Chess Championships (NAGCC), hosted by the Local Government of Olongapo City in collaboration with the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP), held at the SMX Olongapo City Convention Center on June 3-7, 2026. A FIDE-rated national age-group event with divisions from Under 8 to Under 20 (boys and girls). Winners in the U14 to U20 boys and girls divisions will represent the country in the 24th ASEAN+ Age-Group Chess Championships in Singapore on August 7-17, 2026.

VENUE: SMX Olongapo City Convention Center, Olongapo City. Hosted by the Local Government of Olongapo City, under Mayor Rolen C. Paulino Jr., in collaboration with the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP), the Philippine Sports Commission, and the Philippine Olympic Committee. DIVISIONS: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U20 — boys and girls in each. FORMAT (Standard / main event): 8-round Swiss System. Time control: 60 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move. The event also includes Rapid and Blitz events on the final day (see schedule). SCHEDULE: June 3, 2026 - Arrival June 4, 2026 - Opening Ceremony 9:00 AM; Standard Event: Round 1 at 1:00 PM, Round 2 at 4:00 PM June 5, 2026 - Round 3 at 9:00 AM, Round 4 at 1:00 PM, Round 5 at 4:00 PM June 6, 2026 - Round 6 at 9:00 AM, Round 7 at 1:00 PM, Round 8 at 4:00 PM June 7, 2026 - Rapid Event at 9:00 AM; Blitz Event at 2:30 PM; Awarding & Closing Ceremony at 5:00 PM; Departure QUALIFICATION: Winners for U14 to U20 boys and girls will represent the country in the 24th ASEAN+ Age-Group Chess Championships in Singapore on August 7-17, 2026.
