In celebration of the 166th Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of Macrohon, the Local Government Unit of Macrohon, through the Macrohon Sports Council, presents the 1st Macrohon Chess Tournament on Saturday, October 17, 2026, 9:00 AM at the Municipal Training Hall, Macrohon, Southern Leyte. The tournament is exclusively for Macrohonanons and has no registration fee. Swiss system, 15 minutes per player. ₱3,000 and a medal for the champion, cash down to 10th place, plus Top Lady and Top Kiddie special prizes.
