The 8th PARAU Invitational Open Chess Tournament is a free-entry open chess tournament at Parau Hall, Pilar, Sorsogon on Saturday, October 10, 2026, held as part of the Parau Festival of the Municipality of Pilar. Registration is free. The champion takes ₱10,000, with ₱7,000 for 2nd, ₱5,000 for 3rd, and ₱1,000 each for 4th through 10th place. Special awards of ₱500 each go to the Top Senior, Top High School, Top Elementary and Top PWD players.
