Vamos, Pamplona! The 2026 Pamplona Fiesta Chess Tournament is the first-ever FIDE-rated event in the Municipality of Pamplona, Negros Oriental, held on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Two FIDE-rated categories — Open and Kiddies 13 & Under — play Swiss System at 10 minutes + 2 seconds increment, starting 8:00 AM. As a fiesta tournament there are no restrictions: active NCFP members and non-members may join, as long as they are in good standing with the organizing Negros Chess Club 64. Players from Negros Occidental, Cebu, Siquijor and Zamboanga have already confirmed, alongside local Negros Oriental talent. Registration is only ₱50 for non-Pamplona players and ₱20 for Pamplona players, paid by GCash to 0975 890 3393 (MH Olendo).
