The Sablayan Knights Chess Club brings back its FIDE-rated rapid event: the 2nd Sablayan FIDE-Rated Rapid Chess Tournament, on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at Siburan Hall, 3rd Floor of the Municipal Building in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. Nine rounds of Swiss at 10 minutes + 5 seconds increment, FIDE rated. Two categories: Open (14 years old and up) with ₱2,500 for the champion, and Kids (13 years old and below) with ₱1,000 for the champion — cash prizes down to 10th place in both. Registration is ₱300. Players must be active NCFP members and must accomplish the online registration form.
