Chessmates Philippines presents the 5th Chessmates Phils. Rapid Chess Tournament — Grand Prix, held on August 1, 2026 at Robinsons Galleria, EDSA corner Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City. Open to all chess players rated 2000 and below (rating basis: Chessmates June Rapid Rating; Philippine National Rating used if no Chessmates rating). 7 rounds Swiss system, 15 minutes + 3 seconds increment. Champion takes ₱5,000 + medal, with cash prizes and medals down to 10th place plus special category awards. Pre-registration ₱400; on-site registration ₱500 (subject to available slots).
