The Congressman Albee Benitez Rapid Chess Festival 2026 is a FIDE-rated rapid tournament held October 17–18, 2026 at Robinsons Bacolod as part of MassKara Sports 2026. Three sections are on offer: a Team Category for squads of three players with an average FIDE rating of 1900 and below (₱1,000 per team, ₱30,000 champion prize), an Open Category for all titled and non-titled players (₱300, ₱10,000 champion prize), and a 13 & Under Category for boys and girls aged 13 and below (₱300, ₱7,000 champion prize). Organized by the Bacolod Chess Players Association with the Chess Players Association of Negros Occidental (CPANOI), sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP). Registration closes October 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM — strictly no onsite registration.
