CHECKMATE IN DAVAO! The Kajoooyax Open and Kiddies Chess Tournament brings 2 tournaments in 1 day to NCCC Mall Ma-a, Davao City on Saturday, August 15, 2026. This is the Blitz leg — open to all, played at 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment, starting 11:30 AM. The champion takes ₱2,000 + trophy, with cash prizes through 10th place plus ₱350 special awards for Top Lady, Top Kiddie (14 & under), and Top Senior (55+). Registration is ₱200 Early Bird (until July 31), ₱250 Regular (August 1–14), or ₱300 on-site. A Rapid tournament (Kiddies and Open divisions) follows at 1:30 PM the same day.
