The 2nd Brgy. Hibaiyo Fiesta FIDE Rated Chess Tournament — Open Category — at the Brgy. Hibaiyo Gymnasium in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Organized by the Villaflor chess couple, holders of the most FIDE-rated events in Negros Oriental outside Dumaguete. For a ₱100 registration fee (₱200 for non-Guihulnganon), players get the chance to improve their international rating — or earn an initial FIDE rating and have their profile entered on the FIDE website. ₱3,000 to the champion, cash down to 10th place, plus special awards for Top Guihulnganon Male and Female, Top Senior, Top Lady, and the top three Elementary and High School players.
