The 4th PGB Cup — the Gov. Daniel R. Fernando Inter-Town Chess Tournament — is a proud initiative of the Provincial Government of Bulacan, in cooperation with the Provincial Youth & Sports Development Office (PYSDO). It is held on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Provincial Capitol Gymnasium in the City of Malolos. The tournament is open to student-athlete chess players studying, residing or working in the Province of Bulacan. There is an individual tournament in three divisions — Elementary, High School and College — and a six-board town team tournament. Only the first 200 registered participants will be accepted, so pre-register early.
