CHECKMATE IN DAVAO! The Kajoooyax Open and Kiddies Chess Tournament brings 2 tournaments in 1 day to NCCC Mall Ma-a, Davao City on Saturday, August 15, 2026. This is the Rapid leg — Kiddies and Open divisions, played at 10 minutes + 5 seconds increment, starting 1:30 PM. The Open champion takes ₱5,000 + trophy and the Kiddies champion ₱3,000 + trophy, with cash prizes through 10th place in both divisions plus special awards. Registration: Kiddies ₱250–₱350, Open ₱300–₱400 (Early Bird until July 31). A Blitz tournament (3+2, open to all) opens the day at 11:30 AM.
