The Semblante Birthday Celebration Open Rapid Chess Tournament is on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Kapalong Town Square, Kapalong, Davao del Norte. Registration runs 8:00–10:00 AM, a Blitz side event (3 minutes + 2 seconds) starts at 10:30 AM, and the Rapid (10 minutes + 5 seconds) starts at 1:00 PM. The Rapid has guaranteed prizes: ₱2,000 for the champion, ₱1,000 for 2nd, ₱700 for 3rd, ₱300 for 4th, ₱200 for 5th and ₱100 plus a certificate for 6th to 10th, plus ₱200 special awards for the top unrated, top 13-and-below, top female, top senior, top PWD and youngest player. The Rapid entry fee is ₱250, or ₱150 for Kapalong players. Open to all players.
