The NCFP Rapid FIDE-Rated Chess Tournament is a one-day FIDE Rapid-rated event of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines at Victory Mall Plaza, Caloocan City on Sunday, August 16, 2026, starting 9:00 AM. It is an 8-round event played at 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment, with two divisions: Category 2099 & Below (Open) and Under 14 (born 2012 or later). The Open champion takes ₱7,000 and the Under 14 champion ₱6,000, with cash prizes down to 15th place in both divisions plus Top Lady, Top Senior, Top Junior, Top Youth, Top Kiddie, Top Unrated, Top Girl and Top Under 8/10/12 special awards. A bonafide NCFP membership and a FIDE Rapid rating of 2099 & below are required. Slots are limited — registration is through the official online form.
