The Brgy. Captain Rizalino "Bong" Ferrer & Council Chess Tournament is a rapid chess event held on July 5, 2026 at One Mall Valenzuela City (Gen. T. De Leon). Open to players rated 1995 and below (local rating as of May 2026). 15 minutes + 5 seconds delay per player. Champion takes ₱3,000 + medal & trophy, with cash prizes down to 9th place plus a Top Senior award.
