The 2nd Solanoy-Bolivar Chess Tournament runs on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the 3rd Floor Function Hall of the Nabas Municipal Hall in Nabas, Aklan. Play starts at 8:30 AM. NACCA — the Nabas Chess Club Association — presents the event in two sections: an Open section and a 12 & Under section. The Open champion takes ₱4,000 and a trophy, with cash down to 10th place; the 12 & Under champion takes ₱3,000, also paying down to 10th. Registration is free for all Nabasnon. Everyone else pays ₱250 when registering online on or before September 24, 2026, 7:00 PM, or ₱400 onsite on tournament day. Ten special awards are on the table on top of the placement ladders, including Top Male, Top Female, Top Senior, Top College and Top Secondary Nabasnon in the Open, and Top Youngest Male and Top Youngest Lady in the 12 & Under.
