Presented by the Province of Davao del Norte (Youth, Sports and Culture Office) in partnership with the Capitol Chess Club of Davao del Norte and DAVNORCA (Davao del Norte Chess Association). Three categories: Open (open to all players, 50 players only, ₱200 registration, ₱4,000 champion's prize), 17 Under and 12 Under (both exclusive to Davao del Norte players, 30 players each, FREE registration including foods with surprise freebies).
