The 26th NOYPI 2000U FIDE-Rated Rapid Chess Tournament is a one-day FIDE-rated rapid event by the Noypi Chess Association Inc. at Robinsons Malabon, City of Malabon on Saturday, August 1, 2026, 1:30 PM onwards. It is a Swiss System event (6 or 7 rounds depending on the number of participants) played at 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment under the latest FIDE Laws of Chess (Rapid). Open to titled and untitled players with a FIDE Rapid Rating of 2000 and below (August 2026 FIDE Rapid Rating List); unrated players are welcome. The champion takes ₱5,000 (₱3,500 cash + ₱1,500 gift checks) + medal, with prizes through 8th place plus ₱500 special category awards. Maximum of 120 players, first-come first-served — NO on-site registration. NCFP membership is required. Earn your official FIDE rapid rating!
