The Sec. Emmanuel "Pacman" Pacquiao 48th Birthday Chess International Open is a three-day standard-time open on December 13–15, 2026, in General Santos City. Organized by the Pacman Chess Association (PCA) in celebration of Manny Pacquiao's 48th birthday, and sanctioned by the National United Chess Federation of the Philippines (NUCFP). Standard chess, 45 minutes + 30 seconds increment, 9 rounds Swiss. The champion takes ₱500,000 and a trophy, with ₱250,000 for 2nd, ₱150,000 for 3rd, ₱100,000 for 4th and cash prizes all the way down to 50th place. Top Elementary, Top High School, Top Lady, Top Senior and Top GenSan each win ₱5,000 and a medal. Open to all Filipino and foreign players. Registration is ₱12,000 (₱6,000 for NUCFP and PCA members) until December 12 — no on-site registration. The Tatluhan (3-player team) event follows on December 16 and is listed separately.
