The Diyandi Festival 2026 Rising Knights Chess Championship (Elementary and High School Open) on September 12, 2026 (Saturday), 7:00 AM, at Plaza Alemania, Iligan City. Organized by the Iligan City Chess Academy as part of the Diyandi Festival, in partnership with the Iligan City Information Office and the Iligan City Sports Commission. Two divisions run side by side — High School and Elementary — each paying ₱5,000 to the champion plus a trophy, and cash down to 10th place. Iliganon students get their own special prizes by grade bracket.
