The Semifinals of the PSC-NCFP Selection National Chess Championships (Men & Women), held November 28–30, 2026 at the Dumaguete Agape Chinese Christian Academy (DACCA) Gymnasium, Brgy. Junob, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. An 8-round Swiss System played at 60 minutes + 30 seconds increment, bringing together the qualifiers from the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao legs, titled players, and club-endorsed players vying for a place in the Pre-Finals on the road to the Philippine National Team.

QUALIFICATION PATHWAY • Semifinals — all WNM, NM, WFM and FM; qualifiers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao; and eligible players endorsed by NCFP-affiliated clubs in good standing. • Pre-Finals — all WIMs and IMs who are not National Team members, plus qualified players who earn 5 points in the Semifinals. The Top 20 Philippine players in the FIDE ratings as of December 1, 2026 are seeded into the Pre-Finals. • Grand Finals — all Philippine National Team members (except GMs and WGMs), plus the top six players from the Pre-Finals. Organized by Negros Chess Club 64, Inc. with the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP), in cooperation with the Negros Oriental Sports Development Program (NOSDEP), the Dumaguete City LGU, and the Province of Negros Oriental.
