The 4th Barangay Chess Program (BCP) leg at Brgy. Bulak, Dauin, Negros Oriental on Sunday, August 9, 2026 — a "FIDE Twin-Rated" event and a grassroots developmental program of the Philippine Sports Commission and the National Chess Federation of the Philippines, in partnership with the Brgy. Bulak Council c/o Konsehal AJ Credo. FREE registration na, FIDE-rated pa! Two open categories — 1499 & Below and 1500 & Up — each with a ₱500 champion's purse, cash down to 5th place, and a full slate of special awards including Top Senior, Top Lady, Top High School and Elementary players, and dedicated prizes for the top Brgy. Bulak players. Open to all ages, genders, and levels — beginner, intermediate and advanced — except Class A players as determined by the NCC64 registration and screening committee. This is the only Negros Chess Club 64, Inc. event on August 9, 2026, and the only FIDE-rated and NCFP-sanctioned tournament in the province that day.
