The Gamu Rapid Chess Tournament 2026 is a free one-day rapid chess tournament held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Gamu Function Hall in Gamu, Isabela, organised by the Isabela Chess Academy. Three divisions are played — Elementary, High School and Open — each with a four-deep cash prize ladder plus medals. The Open Division champion takes ₱4,000, the High School champion ₱2,000 and the Elementary champion ₱1,500. Special awards of ₱500 and a medal go to the Top Senior and the Top Female player. Registration is free and includes free lunch and snacks for participants. The tournament is open only to bona fide residents of Gamu, Isabela. Registration closes on August 13, 2026.
