Mindanao Chessmates presents a Kiddies & Junior Rapid Chess tournament at Damosa Market Basket, Lanang, Davao City on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Two age divisions run side by side — Kiddies (13 years old and under) and Junior (18 years old and under) — each with its own cash prize ladder plus medals and a special award. Format is a 7-round Swiss system at 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment, with Round 1 starting at 10:00 AM.

Registration: ₱250 online / ₱300 onsite, per division. Payment via GCash for online registration; onsite fee payable at the venue on event day.
