The 9th NOYPI 2050U FIDE-Rated Standard Invitational Chess Tournament is a two-day FIDE-rated standard event by the Noypi Chess Association Inc. at the 3rd Floor of Victory Plaza, Caloocan City on August 8–9, 2026 (Saturday–Sunday), 9:00 AM onwards — RESCHEDULED from the original August 1–2 dates at Robinsons Malabon. It is a 6-round Swiss System played at 60 minutes + 30 seconds increment under the FIDE Laws of Chess. Open to titled, untitled and unrated players with a FIDE Standard Rating of 2050 and below (August 2026 FIDE Rating List). Guaranteed cash prizes: the champion takes ₱8,000 + trophy, with cash prizes through 8th place plus eight ₱1,000 special awards. The first 80 fully paid registrants on or before August 2, 2026 receive a FREE tournament t-shirt. NCFP membership is required. Earn FIDE rating points, face strong competition, win cash prizes!
