CRWNS and ChessZone present a one-day rapid and blitz chess tournament on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the ChessZone Gaming Hub, Blk 10 Torcillo Talaba St., Brgy. 28 Pajo, Caloocan City. The main event is a 7-round Swiss rapid at 15 minutes plus 3 seconds increment. Registration runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon and Round 1 starts at 12:30 PM. Entry is ₱150 and the champion takes ₱1,000, with prizes down to 5th place plus four special awards — Top 18 & Under, Top 11 & Under, Top Golden and Top Senior, ₱150 each. A blitz side event follows for the top 8 players only — a single round robin at 3 minutes plus 2 seconds, ₱50 entry, ₱250 for the champion and ₱150 for second place. The rapid is a non-master event for players rated 1950 and below on the local list as of July, aged 17 to 59. Players 16 and under, players 60 and above, and women players may join regardless of rating.
