The APEX Manila Chess Tour is a rapid open tournament held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Nova Plaza Mall, Novaliches, Quezon City. Registration runs from 8:00 to 10:00 AM and Round 1 starts at 11:00 AM. The event is a 7-round Swiss system at 15 minutes + 3 seconds per move, with a cash prize ladder down to 10th place and special category awards for girls, kids, juniors, youth, adults, seniors and veterans. Everybody is welcome.
Price Notes
₱150 for players above 20 years old. ₱100 for players below 20 years old. FREE for titled players (NM, FM, IM, GM, WNM, WFM, WIM, WGM), senior players 60 and above, and PWD players.
SPECIAL CATEGORY AWARDS — 1st place ₱200, 2nd and 3rd place medal, in each of: Best Girl · Best Kids (12 years & below) · Best Junior (13–17 years old) · Best Youth (18–23 years old) · Best Adult (24–37 years old) · Best Senior (38–49 years old) · Best Veteran (50 years & above).
