The Founder's Cup Edition 1 is a premium local-rated rapid chess tournament presented by Hybreed Philippines and Forge Events at Unimart Capitol Commons, Ortigas, Pasig City on Friday, August 21, 2026 (a holiday). The inaugural edition celebrates the birth month of the founder of Hybreed Philippines and Forge Events. Three divisions run side by side — Open, High School and Elementary — each a 7-round Swiss at 15 minutes + 3 seconds increment, with a combined prize pool of ₱86,000++. Official jersey claiming runs 9:00–10:00 AM only and Round 1 begins at 10:30 AM. Every registered participant receives a FREE Premium Hybreed tournament jersey worth ₱650. The event is locally rated, not FIDE rated, and is limited to 350 participants — registration closes automatically once all slots are filled.
