(KMAI), in partnership with Baguio Center Mall, presents the 34th KMAI Rapid Chess Tournament — FIDE-rated and NCFP-sanctioned — on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Baguio Center Mall. A one-day event for players with a FIDE rating below 2200, in two categories: Open (13 y.o. & above, ₱350) and Kiddies (12 y.o. & below, ₱300). Swiss System, 15 minutes plus a 3-second increment, 6 or 7 rounds. The Open champion takes ₱5,000 and the Kiddies champion ₱2,000, with cash down to 10th place in both categories plus four special prizes. Register via GCash by September 19, 2026. NCFP membership is required — it is a FIDE-rated rapid tournament.
